Rend Lake Fishing Event – OctOBEr 09-11, 2026

AM Vets Outdoors is heading back to the water this fall for a three-day fishing event at Rend Lake, October 9–11, 2026.

Rend Lake is one of Southern Illinois’ premier fisheries and a perfect setting for what AM Vets Outdoors is all about: getting veterans outdoors, putting some fish in the boat, and spending time around people who understand the value of camaraderie.

This weekend isn’t about who catches the biggest fish or who has the fanciest equipment. It’s about getting away from the daily grind, spending time on the water, and giving veterans an opportunity to enjoy the outdoors together.

Whether the fish are jumping in the boat or making us work for every bite, there’s something about a morning on the lake that makes everything else a little quieter for a while.
